Sunny Boy Inverter
The Sunny Boy inverters now come with a DC disconnect switch seen below the inverter as a round selector switch. The AC disconnect is mounted to the right. The tin rain shield mounted above the inverter is more for keeping sun off the inverter than rain. All inverters will lose power if they become overheated. This SB 3000U was mounted on the east side of the home, so morning and early afternoon sun was a factor.
